Beasley Session June 2017

I've met some incredible people through what I do. And with that comes new opportunities, stories, and best of all friendships. Enter in Britani, a beautiful soul I met at my very first Strikes Back concert. I knew from the second I heard her chanting "Sway Sway Sway Sway" (Strikes Back's acoustic song), that our paths had to cross. Almost eight months have passed since that very first show, and Britani came to me about a month ago with the opportunity to capture a special part of her life. Of course I said "ABSOLUTELY", and the day turned out to be the most fun I've had in quite some time.

The day started off with a drink and some snacks at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten. Luckily we made it there just before their daily 3 o'clock toast, had some laughs, and snagged pretzels and fried pickles. Britani planned this whole day around celebrating her friends, Jess and Ashlyn, who had just graduated with their masters. Since music and going to shows in St. Louis has always been a big part of their friendship, we agreed that keeping the locations true to STL was really important.

Since it was a Friday, and traffic was crazy, we decided to stay and walk around in Soulard. A neighborhood that is home to some of the most important parts of St. Louis history. We walked around the Farmers Market, and even found a cute door step that was perfect for pictures. Britani told me that even though they have plenty pictures of their own, having someone else from the outside looking in could really capture the beauty of their friendship. And I think it turned out perfect, if I do say so myself.
As usual I will have a link to the full gallery at the bottom of this post, and I also have chosen some of my favorites to showcase here on their own. I want to say thank you again to Britani, Ashlyn, Bailey, and Jess again for letting me be one of the stops on this special day. Hanging out was so much fun, and can't wait to see where life takes you all next!
