Isabella - City of Parks EP Release Show // 2.4.2017

Back again with Isabella, and just like before, it was a night I definitely wont forget. Not only because these guys, and everyone else that played, are absolutely amazing musicians, but the energy in the air was something I don't get to experience nearly enough. This time around, they were opening for a band called City of Parks, who were releasing their new EP "Find Your Voice". Along with them, other local bands that played were Treading Oceans, Forgetting January, Ashland, and New Lingo. It was so awesome to see all the people who came out to support the local scene, and I'm extremely happy that with what I do for a living, I can cement these moments in time, so they can be enjoyed for years to come.
The "Nice Knives" Release Show back in October still to this day are some of my favorite photos I've ever taken, and the guys are all so damn nice, I just wanna take their pictures all the time 😂. This was my first time ever shooting at Pop's, and the lighting was incredible, so it made my job JUST a little bit easier (it still took me three days to edit, but beauty takes time). I really wanted to keep all the photos for each band some what the same. I kept the tones warm, and switched from a traditional black and white to more of a toned down sepia. I'm also blessed with a boyfriend who comes along, and as usual keeps me on my toes with suggesting different angles and shots (aka letting me get on his back cause I'm short). All in all I'm SO stoked with how they turned out, and I hope you enjoy them too. As usual I have picked out some of my favorites for the post, but below you will see a button that will take you to view the full gallery.
ALSO, keep your eyes peeled for this summer. Isabella has announced that they plan on embarking on a tour that could be coming to a city near you 😏. Make sure to check out City of Parks new EP, "Find Your Voice" here, and Isabella's "Nice Knives" here.  Thanks again for stopping by, and be sure to like and share this post! Happy almost Friday! Xx
